Researchers at the University of Illinois have found that children who are fit physically understand and process information more effectively than those who are not fit. People have found out that exercising helps increase the effectiveness of the brain and that many kids have exercised before a math test and did better than those who didn't exercise. Students who are overweight but still fit had higher scores than those who are lighter weighted and less fit. Researchers at the University of Illinois did an experiment on 9 and 10 year old boys and girls where they made them exercise then asking them memorization questions. The students who were more fit and in better aerobic condition outperformed the others remembering almost twice as much as the others. In the article it was said that “higher levels of fitness have their greatest impact in the most challenging situations” which means that the more difficult an information is the more physical fitness may help children in learning it. In the end exercising is not only good for your health but also can help children to do better in school and absorb more information.

Maybe I should make everyone exercise before the vocabulary test. :)
